LOHA Good Neighbor Sign
LOHA Good Neighbor signs will be available again staring mid May to be placed for a week in a neighbor’s yard. The cost is $5.00 per week. It is hoped that this activity makes residents feel that they are appreciated. Call Carolyn at 248-673-5347. Everyone who participates is invited to an Ice Cream Social in September.

Deepest Sympathy To...
the entire Calme family on the November death of Deana, wife and mother. Deana was a past president of the LOHA Board.

EXPEDITOR'S NEWS

Boat Dock
John Mayer has installed and monitors the de-icers at the boat dock. These bubblers are keeping water from freezing and destroying the new dock. Should you go out on the ice, please be careful to stay away from the open waters and thin ice. We don’t want anyone ending up in the freezing water. The area by the dock has signs up warning of thin ice.

Boat Storage
Boats stored in the beach parking lot must be removed by May 1, 2012. Contact Lee Howell (673-8989) or Bob Majka (618-9652) to have the gate opened.

Pavilion Rental remains inexpensive. One half can be rented for $50 and allows up to 75 people. The whole pavilion can be rented for $100 and allows for 150 people. Call Lynn at 674-1671 to reserve.

Christmas Party
Adults and children who attended the Christmas Party thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The children had fun dancing, playing games, making ornaments and of course seeing Santa. See pictures of the party in the newsletter.

SUPPORT OUR TROOPS

Janice Hummel (673-9438) sends packages to troops in Afghanistan. Need donations. Call her for a list. She is selling cooling bandanas for $5. All proceeds go to the troops.

Committee For Social Events
We are looking for residents who would be willing to be part of a social events committee. No experience is necessary, however new ideas would be appreciated. Contact Pam Pope (673-1802) or Carolyn Bree (673-5347) to show your interest. The group will meet March 22 to plan the summer’s activities.
